Papoose has finally came back after making quite a stir in the Hip Hop industry when he dropped his "Control" track for Kendrick Lamar as well as a hand full of other well-known rappers in the industry. This time around, he really slaps many main-stream rappers upside the head and even takes jabs at the many Illuminati puppets such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Drake, and Rick Ross just to name a few! Papoose also came for Good Music, TDE, and MMG. He even seriously came for Big Sean personally on his track titled,"First Chain." Pap seriously went in on this mixtape hands down!
If you ask me how I feel about it I will tell that it is pure Hip-Hop, and Kay Slay really added a great addition to this mixtape. There are even a few features on this mixtape that I was not too crazy about at all. The features were: Waka Flaka, Gun Play, Da Da Stone, T Mack, Manson, C Brown, Reek Da Don, Ty Giggs, Kino, O Dog, Ebro, Ron Browz, and Noreaga to name the few who where mention.
Overall, this mixtape is slapping. You can play the entire mixtape from start to finish without skipping any tracks unless you are not too crazy about hearing the features. Papoose showcased originally, word play, and over all style. He is a very underrated artist, but "Hoodie Season" proves that he is an amazing rapper/artist/lyricist.
