Being a well-known natural hair YouTube Vlogger what advice would you give to other women that would love to start a YouTube channel?
The best advice that I could give is to just be yourself. Don't try to copy anyone or mimic what you see another YouTuber doing. Just be real and honest and your subscribers will love and appreciate your for that. That is what has worked for me so far =)
Can you tell us more about your very own small business as well as a few pros and cons to have discovered since being a small business owner?
I own an online boutique called Candi J Boutique. Owning your own business is hard but very rewarding. The pros are you're working for yourself, no boss no set schedule you just wake up and work on your own business. I love the freedom of owning my own company. The cons are it can be expensive financially when you're first starting if you don't have that foundation financially, you also have to attract people to want to spend their money with you and that can be a little difficult as well. But in the end I've discovered that this is what I was meant to be doing and I'm blessed.

I started my business because I was miserable working a 9-5 and I couldn't take it anymore. So this was my only and best option, doing what I love.

My business is very unique and fun and that's exactly what I represent. I like to think of my boutique and myself as eccentric, one of a kind, and relate-able. My boutique is just a reflection of what I enjoy and want other people to enjoy.

My business will grow dramatically within the next 10 years. My products will expand and I will have my own franchise.
